Shipping policy

Effective date: 16 July 2026

1. Processing time

Orders are processed on the:

Same South African business day or the next South African business day.

A South African business day means Monday to Friday, excluding official South African public holidays.

Orders placed outside normal processing hours, on weekends or on South African public holidays will be processed from the next South African business day.

Processing time is separate from delivery time.

2. South African delivery

Estimated delivery after dispatch:

3–5 business days

Remote or outlying areas may require additional time.

3. International delivery

Estimated delivery after dispatch:

5–12 business days

International delivery may take longer because of:

  • customs inspections or clearance;
  • destination-country public holidays;
  • remote-area delivery;
  • import requirements;
  • severe weather; or
  • carrier-network disruption.

Customs-processing periods are outside JT BEAUTY’s direct control.

4. Tracking

Tracking information will be sent to the email address or mobile number supplied with the order once available.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking and responding to reasonable courier communication.

5. Delivery estimates

Delivery periods are estimates rather than guaranteed dates unless a specific date is expressly confirmed in writing.

JT BEAUTY will nevertheless fulfil orders within the period required by applicable South African ecommerce law or within another period expressly agreed with the customer. ECTA contains rules concerning fulfilment and refunds where goods cannot be supplied.

6. Delivery address

Customers must provide a complete and accurate:

  • street address;
  • unit or complex number;
  • suburb;
  • postal code;
  • recipient name; and
  • contact telephone number.

We are not responsible for avoidable delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

7. Delivery attempts and collection

The customer must ensure that someone is available to receive the parcel or that the parcel is collected within the courier’s stated period.

Where a parcel is returned because of unsuccessful delivery attempts, an incorrect address or failure to collect, reasonable redelivery or return costs may apply where legally permissible.

8. Proof of delivery

A courier signature, delivery scan, one-time PIN, GPS record, reception record or photograph may serve as proof of delivery.

Where the customer asks that a parcel be delivered to reception, security personnel, a neighbour or another nominated person, delivery to that nominated recipient will ordinarily be treated as delivery to the customer.

9. Delayed or lost parcels

Contact supportjtbeauty@gmail.com if:

  • a South African order has not arrived after five business days from dispatch; or
  • an international order has not arrived after 12 business days from dispatch.

We will assist by requesting a courier update or investigation. A parcel is not automatically considered lost solely because tracking has not recently updated.

10. International duties and taxes

Unless checkout expressly states otherwise, international customers are responsible for any destination-country:

  • import duty;
  • sales tax or VAT;
  • customs-clearance fee; or
  • other government or carrier charge.

Refusal to pay destination import charges does not automatically entitle the customer to reimbursement of delivery or unrecoverable return costs, subject to applicable law.
